i was wondering if a ct26 with a T04E 46 trim wheel would be better than a stock ct26 and how? or how it would be worse?

I would go with the to4 series simply because they have more housings and exhaust wheel options.
Not to mention you'll snap less shafts with the to4 series.

FWIW, Stock c26 intake side impeller measures: inducer minor 1.811, exducer major 2.559. The 46 trim measures: inducer minor 2.003, exducer major 2.950. Thats a nice little upgrade for the turbo, with same spool and longitivity characteristics. A 60 trim is 2.290 and 2.950 with questionable/debatable reliability.
