I'm looking for a good machine shop for our cars. I know some of you guys have had alot of success here , Slow66, CTsupra etc. Where did you get your engine work?

Wow, Wolcott huh? You're right up the hill from me. When I had my valve work and machine work done I used Northeast Auto Machine out of East Hartford. They were pretty good, they even welded and tapped new exhaust manifold stud threads because a previous helicoil had pulled half way out.

Thats where myself, HiPsi and Mello have gone for our previous builds. I might go to a more "race oriented" shop for my current build though...

I've had a block that I picked up repaired for some minor issues and also refreshed. I've had them rebuild and flow tests several heads. I'll endorse them for being competent and professional. Compared to the typical neighborhood engine / performance shops, they are rather clean, professional, well equipped with necessary tools and machinery, and as mentioned before, competent.

I've had them do some minor machine work before. resurface flywheels etc.
they seemed alittle dirty to me and looked really into domestics

Another vote for NE Auto, had my 7m done there. They did a high quality job, and good prices too. The only negative is that sometimes they're really busy, so it might take a while to get your engine back depending on the kind of work you need done.
