useually the 60-1 last maybe 5-10k miles when boosted hard. IF Jon at MDC
rebuilds it, he has access to a high end balancer, which wil help its life a lot.
Also there will be a group buy soon with a 56mm turbo wheel compressor, its
just a hair smaller, but will last longer. With a 60-1 get Jon to clip the exhaust
not only for more flow, but less turbine shaft failure.

its just a little bit bigger, but really if you do take care of it with proper sitting after hard racing ( TT or just plain waiting...), with a good BOV, and good oil and flow to the turbo, then your turbo will last significantly longer, goes with any turbo though

good point, the shaft is a little bit small for the size of the wheel, and the hotside at that too, but its pretty good for the moment...

Here's the deal, you'r best bet is either a .57 trim (55.2mm), or a 56mm wheel
withe the machine housing to match. This is a turbo that will make 350-400rwhp and should last 25k miles at normal (17psi) boost or lower.

I'm organizing a group buy to get 56mm turbos to the masses.

As far as the T4's They are a more stout turbo, and I can get them (in bolt
on trim like the LIPP BOSS-550) for less money.

email me off-list if interested.
