Alright... looking at past posts, I have not found 1 single post regarding MDC rebuilding a turbo for anyone here and on supraforums. Maybe no ones posts it, but I would like some previous feedback before I throw 350USD around.

So who's gotten their turbo rebuilt by them and what's the outcome?

I have, but I never had the chance to use before switching to a T4 (also rebuild by MDC). I'll let you know how that one goes. I will say this about Jon, his customer service is unmatched, you won't go wrong by choosing MDC.

Ok, Since we are talking about Jon and his ability to Provide a Excellent Product. I had a 57 Trim CT26 that I sent over to him to get rebuilt. Now when this turbo was sent, It only would spin about 2/3rds of a Turn before it stopped and The Side to Side play was so bad that When under Boost, It would start to cut into the Compressor Housing.
Well, After about 10 days (Time Shipped to time Recieved) I had it back at the house and getting ready to Install. Not only did he Rebuild this turbo, If you took at look at it, you would think it was straight from the Factory. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.... Not a Inch of Front to rear play and very minimal side to side.
After Installing, I took it out for a spin, This Dam turbo Rocks. I would highly Recommend Jon to anyone that is needing a rebuild. I also have a 62-1 Chrome turbo here that Im getting ready to send out to him also.
Excellent Price, Excellent Service and a dam good Guarantee on his work

MKII with a 7MGTE boosting from 18-20psi..... 57 Trim CT26..

Thought you were talking about an MDC rebuild I was gonna call BS, I've seen the guy actually working and there aint no way he would let something that wasn't perfect be shipped out to anyone. Hell, he even took extra time to make sure his shim kits weren't scuffed up or anything stupid like that. :nono: I'd trust him way before I shipped it out to some big name place. Everytime I go out there for something little like an 02 sensor I ussually end up hanging out w/ him for a good hour talking shit about mkIII's and making him teach me stuff. Great guy, I just hope one of these days I'll be able to afford to buy stuff from him. lol

My shim kit came to my front door wrapped up all pretty in the box and BTW, shim kit works great! Shimmed 7mm and got 14psi :naughty: I will just say for the record, Jon will go out of his way to help you with everything he can. I called for one question and hung up the phone with a list full of info from him. He's dedicated and I've heard nothing but good things from his quality of work. I'll be going to him in a few months(hopefully) for a 60-1 Trim BB CT26:love:

I'll cast my lot with the folks who are offering general testimonials. I can attest to two things:

1. He is very helpful.

2. His welding skill is top-notch.

I haven't bought anything from him yet, but probably will in the coming months.
