Hi, my buddy purchased a stainless steel manifold but i believe its the one from Ebay and i think that its a T4 flange. He is selling it to me but i want to make sure it fits first. I could somewhat measure the bolt to bolt pattern on the stock CT-26 Turbo flange but its not very accurate. I was just wondering if someone has a CT-26 Turbo laying around and could measure the flange that bolts to the manifold. So if anyone has done this before can you let me know the details, like if i need new flexible oil lines or if the charge pipe on the compressor housing will line up correct?? Thank You Sean

The stud centers are 70mm side to side and 80mm top to bottom, hope this is what you were looking for.

all i did was ask a simple question and i needed a simple answer just like Down But Not Out gave me so thank you, thats why these threads go on for so damn long is because of stupid questions and comments, and trying to rip on people. a tubular manifold gets alot better flow than the restrictive stock one. so thats why im looking at putting that on... hope that clears all questions up.

It also rotates the turbo 90 degrees.

Means your downpipe won't fit, and modifying one is gonna be hell as well. Not to mention the oil and coolant lines, the output from the compressor housing, ect.

All for the fact it won't change anything because the stock CT maxes out well before the stock manifold does.

Not "trying to rip on people," I'd just rather see people use their money a lot more wisely.

You're pretty new here, so I'm going to let you in on a few things:

- This car has few simple answers...more than one guy has spent a boat load of hard earned $$$ and it not work.
(just like you are trying to do)
- Few people give complete info, hence the questions. Lost count of the threads where 15 posts later the OP says "oh yeah, I removed <insert part here>, would that do anything?"
- I see no one here "trying to rip" you...you need to get a thicker skin or your time here will be very short. These guys are TRYING to help you.
- As Poodles said, the stock manifold flows way better than a CT26 will EVER use and the header type manifold cocks it 90 deg (have fun getting a downpipe for that one). It's a complete waste of $$$ that will do little to produce additional HP. There are far better places to spend your money.

But, as always, it's your money...you can waste it any way you like.
Just send it to me and I'll use it on the new motor I'm building...I'll send pics with me smiling holding a dyno sheet ;)

Since the original question - and all the problems surrounding it - have already been answered, I'm going to address a few other concerns that this thread raises.

Don't expect that you own a thread just because you started it. Expect people to comment in threads that you start, and expect some of their opinions and / or facts to conflict with yours.

Many posters will quickly give up on the possibility of helping the OP. However, this thread will be here, popping up in the search results, for literally years to come. So, the folks still posting are adding to the knowledge base of the community, not the knowledge base of the OP.

I'm not really poking at this thread in particular, it's just a good example of a rather common phenomenon.

Thread closed...you got your answer.

I'm going to point out (one more time), what you are trying to do is going to be very difficult. That was pointed out to you and that was all...I did not read a single post where someone acted like an ass or was a prick toward you. Looks like to me you have a very hard time accepting any criticism...that is going to make it very difficult for you in general. It's pretty obvious WHO is the ass here.
