cruise control

What all needs to be removed to disconnect the cruise control. i was in the mood to work on the car and went to tackle that project and noticed taht it seems way more involved then i thought. any help would be great thanks

Disconnect the cruise control cable to the throttle linkage. Remove all accompanying wires and plugs. Remove the vac hose. Unbolt

You want to remove it all together. Plug the vac hose. Silicone and a screw works well ;)

I know what you mean. I did 1500 miles without cruise. OMG talk about sucking really really bad.
