What all needs to be removed to disconnect the cruise control. i was in the mood to work on the car and went to tackle that project and noticed taht it seems way more involved then i thought. any help would be great thanks

Disconnect the cruise control cable to the throttle linkage. Remove all accompanying wires and plugs. Remove the vac hose. Unbolt

just curious, but why would you remove it... that's the only thing that keeps me and my lead foot from getting tons of tickets every day
I removed it cause I never used it and my new Momo steering wheel would get rid of my CC controls.
ahah.... new steering wheel makes sense... i've got an almost perfect 89 wheel, so that won't ever happen... i hope
If i had a perfect 87 wheel i would keep it.
