Cruise control question

Today I was cleaning out my engine bay so I could take some pictures. I decided to remove the 3 bolts holding cruise control actuator so I could clean under it, when one of the bolts snapped. I didn't feel like trying to get the bolt out so I just unhook the whole thing. I just want to know if it will hurt anything or should I just cap off the vaccum line and not worry about it?

Your right leg will get tired on long trips. Remove the cable to prevent binding.

Not having cruise control is cool with me because I hate using it any way. It makes me feell like I am not in control of the car plus I am putting in an aftermarket steering wheel in next few weeks.
