I put the correct turn signal stalk and wheel onto my car (89t, 89 wheel, 89 stalk) and now the cruise on light activates but the cruise cannot be set.

I'm going to go through the tsrm diagnostics tommorow but was wondering if having my abs throwing codes for both rear wheel speed sensors can cause this or if the cruise gets it speed signal independently.

There is only one rear wheel speed sensor - it's in the transmission. And yes, this will more than likely mess up your cruise.

rear wheel speed sensor is for abs not cruise :)

The cruise sensor is actually right on the speedometer gauge.

BTW, the problem with my cruise was the switch on the brake - it was activating without depressing the brake, so the cruise wouldn't engage.

I adjusted the switches on the brake and clutch pedals, and it's flawless.
