I was cheated by a man selling a car locally on craigslist.

He is selling cars on the side, as an Illegal and unlicensed dealer.

I called about his 2000 crown victoria, which he said only needs a starter to run. He said everything else is in excellent shape.

He told me that he does not have the cash to replace the starter, and if I bought one he'd replace it for me.

So we went to the parts store to pick up a new starter, the we went and installed it.

After about 4 hours of wasting my time, the car would not start due to some wiring issue(which he failed to mention). Also,

the fan was not working properly and was rigged with a wire running to the battery. Ironically, he knew nothing about this. We

ended up jumping the starter and it started up. when I took it for a test drive the transmission was shot, slipping and not
shifting.

so I immediately took the car back and asked him to remove my starter so I can return it.

He swore up and down that there is nothing wrong with the tranny. what a stupid sack of shit.

He said the car is too hot and he does not want to burn himself. He promised to take it off the next day when the car cools off.

I've tried calling, but he does not answer my calls.

I had a bunch of people call him, so he changed his number. One of them at least.

What I need from you guys is to keep flagging his posts until we shut him down.

LETS STOP THIS DOUCHEBAG FROM SCAMMING OTHERS!!

It's under the Tulsa, Oklahoma Craigslist.

Feel free to call and harass him, preferably In the middle of the night.

These are his phone numbers; 918-260-5357 or 918-346-9512

He has these cars now;

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/1403147811.html 2000 tiburon

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/1403139539.html 1998 grand am

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/1403097095.html 2000 crown victoria

Let the bastard pay for my starter with frustration, fear(if you would like), and minutes.

If you could find his IP address, that would be awesome so I can still find him if he changes phone numbers.

I apologize for being long-winded, but I'm very frustrated.

Thanks guys

I'm sorry that you got ripped off, but I assume you know his address right? Since you went there to install the starter. Why not just take him to court?

I would pay more in court fees than I payed for the starter, not to mention all the time and hassle. It's really not worth my time. He's not worth my time.

This is the easiest way to get him back even though I won't get my money back, but at least it will prevent him from cheating others.

Is he stopping you from going there yourself and pulling the starter? I only ask because you said he has refused to pull it himself. Go talk to the police if he won't let you get it back.

Already tried that, the police won't do anything about it.

I tried calling him but he wont answer, and I have a feeling that he has someone watching it.

These guys are wannabe gangster thugs, I don't think it's worth getting shot over a starter.

You bought a Crown Vic...on purpose...???

jk, I've bought worse beaters in my time.

I didn't buy it, I wanted to though.

I'm a used car dealer, these cars are hot sellers.

I don't really like these cars, and I don't think I'd ever drive one unless I had no other options.

you see, I like to cater to everyone.

I try to keep at least one each on my lot at all times;

A gas saver
A gangsta mobile...(can you say a crown vic on 22s? yuhh)
A mini van
A cargo van
A pickup
A nice luxury car(s)
A sports car
An SUV
That's why I wanted it.
