^^^ Older days... when I was YOUNG and LIGHTER.

p627789_2.jpg

^^^ More recent... bedhead... and the suspect vehicle... needing some TLC!

Looking forward to the Supra community in here. This is my 3rd Supra, 2nd MKIII, and the sole TURBO of the bunch. I've had this project car for over a dozen years... so I'm not new to the Supra... but I have NEVER been very engaged in the internet as a resource, until I discovered Solaraguy.com last year for my '04 Solara, which subsequently, got all the attention.

I'm soo inspired to revive the old "beast" now, (after viewing EVERY post in the "ELITE ENGINE" thread), I'll be seeking your experienced, expert advice here at Supramania.

PS: I DID read EVERY WORD in the "rules" before posting!!! (...alot to remember... but pretty logical stuff.:evildeal: )

Excuse my long winded intro... hope I don't piss anyone off!

Thanks for the privilege and opportunity to become a regular in here.

Welcome my Crisp Solara/Supra brotha!!! Good to see your transition from SolaraGuy as well :naughty:

hahaha it's certainly a "different" atmosphere over here bro... But you'll DEFINITELY find what you need...

I hope you don't mind my redundant posts between sites (don't let the SG folk know)!! :icon_razz

Damnit, now I gotta get off my lazy ass and update my signature pic...

Awesome! How old is that first pic?? You should post more pics!!

First shot of me (in Grateful Dead "aoxamoxoa" shirt... no less...) was in '96 or '97... a decade ago! (Possibly '98... but I think I was not so slim by then!:nono: )

I would LOVE to start posting up various pics... should I be setting up some kind of "gallery" like many other guys have?

Still "feelin' out" your "bushido" (samurai code) in SM...

Here's a "dirty" shot of my current "straight (mostly) 3" pipe" setup! (a little... er... ALOT obnoxious! ...hoping to put a real free flowing AND mellow system on it... any suggestions? I'm somewhat partial to HKS...)

The HKS Super Drager is a tad pricy but is one of the quietest yet FREE FLOWING systems you can find :icon_bigg. 85mm (3.35") piping all the way to a 120mm tip. :naughty:

^^^ That was the one I was looking at back when I threw the straight pipe on for a temporary fix... as for the COST... I'll give BLOOD to pay for it, if necessary...:evil3:

Whoa, that was in 97?? Judging by your hair, I would have thought 87...;)

And yea, the HKS Super Dragger is really nice, quiet and deep, but screams at WOT.

Funny. Here is an ACTUAL "circa '87" shot... (don't "BonJovi-Laugh" at me, please!)

^^^ There's an OLD photo of my '84 (sorry, in the background!)

Yes, BLACK... wearing 245's all around on the stockies... with Tokico and Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars... and ALOT of miles! I put 227,xxx miles on my original supra... and then SOLD it, still running like a "raped ape"!

...good memories of THAT little six...
