Cressida 5 speed swap??

Alright guys, I just recently attained a 85 cressida with a 5mge with a slipping auto trans. One oddd thing is that it only slips when the trans is cold and is fine when it warms up. There is a mk2 in a junkyard close and it is a 5 speed, will the pedals fit in the cressida?

hey my buddy 4u2quik has done a couple cressida swaps hes on my friends list...
ive seen a couple of his friends v8 cressidas one has a ls1 400hp..and the others are 1uz very clean cars i would like to do 1uz 5spd sometime down the road for a DD....

ok, the biggest thing I can think of that you will need is the manual crossmember, which I may be able to get ahold of for you. Otherwise, if you have the tranny and the correct bellhousing it should be pretty straightforward.

I'll ask, there's a few different options, and I'm not sure offhand which is the best.

From my understanding you can modify a MK III clutch pedal to fit.

you can, but it puts the pedal at a weird angle. I forgot to aske my friend which one he used, because it fits perfect. It might have been a mkiv pedal amd clutch master. I know for sure that you have to have the resevior with the offset to clear your wiper motor.
