Whenever I hit the brakes to come up to a stop I hear and feel a creaking from the front end. As I let off the brakes it creaks again. I also experience a slight creak/bump when steering at low speeds some times. In fact both things seem to happen only at lower speeds. And lastly my targa top squeeks quite a bit, like with every turn of the wheel and every bump on the road, it seems excessive.

What may cause these symptoms? I do have poly bushings, though I just greased them...

try tightening your steering rack, lower control arms (24mm?)Mine were creaking lots untill i tightened them up.The steering rack wasnt so loose but a bolt had worked itself loose and the only thing stopping it from falling onto the road was the little black bung.I checked my ball joints too and if you can grease them (toyota dont have grease nipples on them :( )

Yeah, I can try tightening those lower control arm bolts, I just took my steer rack out ang put it back in so I know those bolts are good. Also, my ball joints have at the most 2k miles on them so I would think they should still be good.
