after trying to put back in the f-con...
Since the engine was running fairly well, i decided it was time to hook back up the f-con. After plugging it in, the engine cranked, but didn't want to start. So i unplugged the f-con again, and plugged in the stock ECU.. WHen i wanted to start the car, the engine was locked.. didn't want to crank.. strong gas smell everywhere. So after spinning the engine backwards by the crank, i started cranking again but no start. After cranking for a while, i realized if i cranked for a long time, it finally would start to catch... eventually it started, sputtered for a while and died.. each time i stopped the starter, i'd have to crank a while to get it to start... then it would sputter and die again. that was with the fuel pump disconnected.. with the pump connected it didn't start at all..
Any ideas? ECU gone shot?? How can the car flood enough to lock the cylinder within minutes...
