hi friends,

i've discovered a crackin the hose of the intake manifold. i'm thinking of buying a silicone hose and replacing it, instead of the standard Toyota rubber part. i know theres a kink in the original part, but i figure: silicone is flexible right? so i could shoe horn it in??.. anybody done that before? any adverse reactions?..:)

by the way, that hose is indicated in pic link:

(thats not my car though...:)..

another question related to this hose:

its connected the stock bov (ABV), and i was going to remove the ABV, and plumb that into a GReddy RZ BOV. i see many folks actually fit the BOV to a pipe on the throttle manifold side.. any differences in setup?

thanx guys.

cheers

If deleting it just cap it off.

No performance from bov just sound and getting air out. Generally you want the bob closer to the throttle plate to get air out as soon as it closes so it dOesbt start back feeding into the turbo.
