CPS???

a few weeks aga i set the timming on the car to 15 degree's and even then once in a while the cars seems to idle rough, and at has happened to me twice that the car just wont start, and if i hit the CPS it starts, so i was wondering if it was that i just have a bad cps or wat else could be my problem:1zhelp:

After the CPS gets older and older, the male/female wires come apart and that is the reason why giving it a jiggle or whacking at it will make the car start. It shouldn't have anything to do with your "timing" but touching and messing with it, you could've knocked it silly. ;)
Just take it apart...and rewire. :)

Not to be a dick or anything, but if you search, you should be able to find something about rewiring it. Not a hard thing to do. I just have have time. Good luck.
