Yes, This is how you set your timing. You need to jumper the diag box when the car is warm and set the timing by moving the CPS to 10 degrees with a timing light, Once set, tighten the CPS and remove the jumper. :)

That's how you set your timing...yes, it needs to be set per the TRSM. If it was removed, it must bee reinstalled correctly or the engine will run very crappy (if at all).

aight, i should be able to get that done tomorrow, or maybee this mornin... pullin an all nighter tryin to get this finished... damn jdm motors... so much is different on em :-/ even the coolant lines to the heater core are different... thanks for the info
