CPS Connector angle = no start?

Ok, I've noticed this much about my motor... At times, the car will start perfect... other times, it turns over but no start, you have to play with the connector for the cps... not the cps its self, but you know how the cps's plug has a screw for adjustment? well the angle of that is like a form of tuning too! or atleast it seems that way... any one know if this is valid? Or if there is something else up there... Im trying to fix all the little problems mines has... Just trying to get some assistance diagnosing. thanx again

There is no "adjustment" on an electrical connector. The bad connection is probably you reason for an intermitent no start.

Have a pic of the screw you are talking about?

if by "adjustment" you mean bad wiring and "form of tuning" you mean that youve got to solder the bad connections then, yes, youd be right.

It might also be the wiring harness wires for the CPS. I had that problem, had to cut them and solder them on right.

Wiring harness is brand new... Cost me $540, the cps is the second one i have... The one that came on the car was worse... bought this CPS used off of www.suprawarehouse.com, they said it was in running order when they took it off the supra. id have to get a multi meter and test the cps... i take it that i shouldn't be having any problems starting my car just becaues of the angle of the connector brace?
