I was out tonight with some friends. about 4 JZA80s, 2 FDs, and a S14 and me of course

Had a chance to run about 3 of the cars. 1 of the A80s, the FD and the S14.

me vs stock twin A80

rolling speed was around 55. 3 honks. go. kept even nose to nose up to about 120 where I let off before speed cut hit. pretty happy with that run against an A80. did a couple more pulls with him from different speeds. same results. dead even.

me vs stock twin FD

roll speed around 55 again. 3 honks. same results as the A80. pretty even up to about 90. did a couple more pulls with this car too. same results again. some i was a bit ahead, others he was a bit ahead. good races there.

me vs S14

I ran my friends S14. same roll speeds as before. he began to pull slowly away instantly. not much of a race there. car is really quick. GT2871 turbo, fuel, etc.

fun night. pretty satisfied with my car's performance given the limited mods I have. just Downpipe, exhaust, and intake for power making mods.

sorry if the stories are kinda short or whatever. it's 5 AM right now. i just got home. -_- i'll fill in details later or something. maybe video when my friend gets it up. I'm going to bed now.

Nice runs OJZ, but I don't know what you were racing against. I think the A80 would be an audi twin turbo. I've heard their pretty quick. I don't know what a twin FD or an S14 is. Used to cars were names mustangs, camaros, transams. Now everything is named like a robot from starwars. SRT, S2000, NSX, plus those that you mentioned. Sounds like you were happy with your runs, so good job. Hope to see a video soon so I can recognize these cars that can run with the legendary OJZ.................lol

A80 = MKIV

I just don't like the terms MK3 and MK4. :]

FD = RX7 3rd gen

S14 = 240. SR swap

hope that helps

not bad for the little 1J, huh? =]

I guess you live in another world if you live outside of Alabama, because I love cars and thought I knew a good bit about them. I have never heard of an RX7 referred to as a FD. I have heard about the Nissan 240's, but never heard it called an S14. We have lots of 240's around here, but their all basically stock except for Shannon's. He runs 8.10 at the 1/8 mile track. I don't know what size turbo he has, but it runs pretty good.

Since you were all too nice to laugh at me, here you go....................::hah::
I wouldn't have ever figured them out if I didn't ask..........lol

lol @ IJ^

hm... pretty much all of the terms 1joe refered to were either chassis designations or i dunno... (what doe s14 refer to?) i never really wondered up until now, i just knew what it was, but s14 does refer to a certain body style of 240 or silvia
