After a failed attempt to get a Supra to run good, hold water and idle.I am going to cut my losses. But before I move on, I have a couple of burning questions.I have blow off valve that goes to atmosphere,My guess thats not good for A/F ratio .The EGR was removed. Not sure about the advantage of that. It's true that most problems are the owners not the supra. I did learn alot from this community. I just ran out of money and patience.

there is no good from removeing an agr at all...put it back on (unless you run a jdm ecu or standalone)

Your bov blows already metered air out so the motor will never see it, this makes you run pig rich for a second....can also make you stall out when you push the clutch in.

So far it seems the problem is your lack of education on supras...

Whoa now, don't just abandon the car because you're frustrated with it. Mine's been hanging out in the garage for over a year and I'm still determined to make it move. I ran short of cash at times, but I just covered the project up and waited for more money to come in(thank you stimulus check).

The BOV if not hooked up properly, and any loose ends not capped off properly will make the car idle like crap. The massive leak won't even let the car get over something like 5% throttle. Ask me how I learned that one.

Just reinstall the EGR, it's there's no reason for you to take off that functional part of the motor if you don't have a good grasp of how it works. The thread that discusses it gets pretty brutal though.

I'm not going to get into the EGR discussion. It's been documented many times here. I will though, tell you that I have had mine removed for 6 years. I also have a Greddy Type-S BOV. My car does not stall, but does like to backfire on a rare occasion. Also, it is definitely not the car that is at fault. Like I have said before, I've had my car for 6 years, with no major troubles. If you take care of your car, it will take care of you. The heater core had to be replaced due to a leak, and I just replaced my starter. Other than that, it's run just fine.

I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
