couple of questions

Has anyone heard of or used toga rod bearings? They have them on horsepowerfreaks for the 7mgte. Ive developed a very very very slight rod knock and id like to change the bearings out before it gets any worse.

Also, i am installing a FPR to sompensate for raised boost, and was wondering how you know what setting to put it on (PSI).

I was actually going to purchase them when I rebuilt my motor but the crankshaft i purchased came with bearings. I was told that they are good quality. Just do your research on it cause its not a good idea to just put in new bearings without having your crankshaft resufaced.

I was told that if you take care of it soon that you dont need the crank resurfaced because there is no damage to the crank. I was also thinking of going with king bearings because they say the fillin low spots and adapt to high spots?

IIRC stock fuel pressure is around 33 - 40psi.

Also, I haven't used the TOGA but clevite 77s are the best IMO.

I don't think that Jeff at horsepowerfreaks would sell you junk....

so boosting at 10lbs, what would you put it at? I hear it is always better to run rich, which is why i got the FPR. Im a motocrosser, and have seen what running lean can do to an engine.
