alright....I've got a couple of things. I just ordered an safc2 and I have an SX adjustable FPR laying around. I want to install both of these. How hard is it to install the SAFC2. I went to college as an electronics major, so the wiring is no problem. The thing is, I don't want to splice my harness in a way thats going to make it a royal pain in the rear if I have to remove my engine(I'm sure I will at some point to put the new one in). also, do I have to do an intial setup on the SAFC after I install it? I really would prefer not to mess with it, as I have no idea about the proper tuning of the engine. I would prefer to let my tuner mess with it on dyno day. My current setup is lex afm, RC 550 injectors, walbro pump. Thats the only fuel mods I have. I talked to my tuner, he said the perfered method of tuning would be an safc and a afpr.....
which brings me to my next question. I do not have instructions, fittings or anything with my FPR, and it is an SX AFPR. anyone have pics of the install on this, or something very similar. Do I need to remove the stock FPR? I would like someone to give me a walkthrough on this with pics if that is possible.
I'm trying to go ahead and get all the supporting mods for my next engine....the one that should put down some big power(500-600hp range), so hopefully, I'm on the right track so far. Among my other goodies that I have ordered is a KOYO aluminum radiator, a polished upper radiator hose, I have a five gallon bucket of AN fittings that I need to make use of, a greddy turbo timer, and some other various things.
thanks all
chris
