hi pips, ive got a strange one for you all lol, when i start driving me car farts and cougths until she gets realy warm ,its frustrating as i cant open her up for about ten minutes or so ,ive also noticed that i get a certain sound comming out the exhaust while im waiting for it warm up like a mild poping when slowing down through the gears ,i know it makes this sound but while cold its ten times louder. as i say its not undriveable but when i pull away even after a couple of miles she coughs and farts and i have to change gear to get it to smooth out . its fully bpu ,and when warm its fine im thinking over chokeing .is that possible and is there an ajustment on the choke .

Basic Performance Upgrade
The BPU upgrades allow the engine to produce more power by raising the boost pressure the turbos produce.

Why not give it some cold medicine....

On a more serious note my car does not drive too well until it is warmed up as well. I would check the plugs first and replace them with brand new NGK 6097 coppers gapped to 0.028

I have tried iridium's and have found that coppers perform much better on a turbo charged engine. You will have to replace them often but they are much cheaper and superior.

He posted it already

NGK 6097 copper plugs gapped at .028"

we put iridiums in a friends JZ, ran 10x worse than with regular coppers
