costs of machining the block

So I am getting some work done to my supra (87 turbo). Meaning I am getting the metal head gasket replaced only to find out that my block need to be machined due to some nice pitting on the rear cylinder.

Anyways the point, roughly how many hours work do you think it will cost to remove the block (only the block as the head is already removed) and have it machine then put back together with new pistons, rings and bearings?

Any help would be much appreciated
thanks

Is that shop going to resurface the head also? Or reinstall it? The book calls for about 30 hours give or take. I dont remember exactly anymore.

From what I have seen in my area:

$60-65 to hone the cylinders (if that is all you need and not boring).
$120 to bore out 6 cylinders
$150 to mill the block, although one machinist gave me a quote of $50 and that was way low
$240 to assemble the block

Don't know where you are located or if you would trust them or not but the NAPA quoted me a price at one point and they will also replace anything that needs it while its apart.
