There's nothing redneck about a C6. It's one of the most capable "off the shelf" road course cars available. Even the Boxster S is not going to touch a stock C5 Corvette, much less a C6, when on a road course.

And most MKIII's (not all) don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of keeping up with one either on the straights or in the curves.

The driver of that one might be a redneck, but calling that car names like that is just plain ignorant. It's not a freaking Camaro...

yeah I was corrected on the type of corvette I guess its a magnacharged c6 or something like that

weve got a C6 Z06 with a magnacharger in my area, stock tune made somewhere in the high 600's at 8psi

but that just goes to show another vette owner with too much money and no skill

Most corvette owners and drivers are rednecks, it is a capable car that is priced low enough that anyone whose worked a decent job 2 years can afford to finance one, I live in southeast missouri, and they are like camaros here there are no less than 8 c6 Z06's here, 10 or more c6 regular models, a crapload of c5's, a 850rwhp c5 with weight reduction full carbon front end and other goodies, so here they are like camaros, and point of fact the camaro SS can make a vette look real bad if the purchaser also orders the GM performance option when buying a SS otherwise its a souped z28, that pack helps a lot, my buddy had that option and he ate several vettes. And a mk3 wouldn't stand a chance, why well because its 2 decades behind the automotive times and thats like 50 years in any other field of growth, we have a few faults, heavy azz car, underpowered engine that takes more money to prep for high boost than to buy the parts for making that boost, and old design, If I went american I'd get maybe an SRT 10 viper, Saleen S7, or a classic Buick GNX yea it may not handle but the GNX will eat vettes at the strip all day long.
