Got her for 300 bux. Needs some work but is coming along slowly.

Right now she will be staying NA while I build the 7mgte up.
At this point still trying to figure a general direction for the car. But at least she has a bit of stuff done so I wont be bored.

For those who are going to ask the wheels are 17 inch 04-05 TL wheels. Which fit nicely. Though I need wider tires on them. But for 80 bux with 8 tires I wasnt going to pass on them!

For now she came lowered with what looks like eibach springs on bilstein shocks tinted windows. Some kind of custom exhaust. lol oh and Snake eyes which are getting replaced with stock windshield washer nozzles :icon_bigg

Shes got a long way to go but heres to the start of a new project.

Definitely needs some work in here. But some patience some recovering some dying and a new dash and I will be well on my way.

We are only waiting on an oil pump to be able to put her back together for now as a DD. But not a bad start. She does need some paint and I will be getting around to that.

Im looking for a cap or sticker to use to cover or replace them. If that fails then will just fill them in and repaint them in stock silver.

Wow that thing is in awesome shape for 300 bucks. And the wheels look awesome on there. Maybe try and find a newer Camry center cap it looks like it will fit right in there.

Will have to keep that in mind! Thanks man. Would like to have the newer toyota logo on the car.

As for the wheels someone asked and I honestly cant remember what forum it was so heres more pics of the wheels and how they fit on the car.

Theres more in the works for her. First some interior work (black and grey mainly oh and getting rid of that steering wheel....) then onto some body work. Then finally I located a 7MGTE thats needs a rebuild but came out of a running car for a good deal. But if I run across a cheap deal on a 1UZ that will be the route I go. As for now just waiting on an oil pump for her.

Thanks to Supraracer and his brother we got the temporary 7m fired up and running tonight. Still has some tuning and small issues to work out but not bad for a car that hasnt run in years!

Heres a few new pics. Car has been a bit of a headache getting her going.

She runs fairly strong now. But right now needs a front main seal and water pump :3d_frown: That will teach me for rushing a car together.... oh well I had reasons I had to have this car going.

But heres a few new pics of her. Shes dirty but has gotten some touch paint paint and a degreaser wash.

She handles pretty well. Lots of body roll. The roomie says the shocks are getting a bit old. Which is easily believable but to me its a damn good excuse to upgrade the sway bars. A few people dont think I need wheels spacers. I think I need some small ones just to bring the wheels to the edge of the body panels. Shes defintely in need of a turbo badly. After I fix a few more of the previous owners rookie mistakes in wiring and figure out why the low beams arent working she should be a fairly solid daily driver.

Big thanks to SupraRacer and his brother! Probably owe them another case of beer when I have some money again.. though owning a supra that might be never again!

With any luck next week the replacment list will be...

Replace and rewire the front speakers (not sure what the hell the previous owner did but a chimp on shrooms couldve done a better job)

disease it is... next paycheck or so going to run a Mark 8 cooling fan with a derale electronic thermostat for the fan. Should give the NA a bit more power. Every lil bit helps. Not to mention I hate my car sounding like a box fan on steriods... :3d_frown:
