Ok so I got arround to pressure checking the system in my car yesterday. I put teflon tape on all the components on the thermostat housing as well has high temp RTV on mating surfaces as well to be extra sure. THat not where the problem lies. Its in the intake mani. It looks like a hose runs from the head to some kind of vaccume line. Looking at the Tb head on its the little black thing to the right. I was thinking it was a seal but im not sure. I need help identifying what this line is and I need a remedy for this. (I was thinking RTV but i dont want to do that) This hole thats pissing coolant is just above the knock sensor closest to the front of the car.

IJ, Hop in here! I know you have a remedy.

There's actually 3 coolant hoses running from the block coolant hard line to the TB to the ISC valve to a fitting on the lower intake manifold. Here's the TRSM diagram:

I'd replace all of them...or, you can just run a line from the block coolant line to the fitting on the lower intake manifold and bypass the TB and ISC. The coolant lines are there to improve cold weather warm up to both. If you live in a warm climate, you will not notice any difference.

That's where the fitting I was talking about goes that feeds coolant to the ISC.

Are you sure the head is warped? And not just the lower intake manifold?

Make sure the straight edge is flat across the head intake ports...you should use a machinist straight edge. Slip a feeler guage in the gap to measure it. Looks like your bolts might have loosened up and the heat from the head warped the manifold.

I sell chrome ceramic coated upper/lower intake manifolds as a set...the ceramic is great to help prevent heat problems like this. I have a set coated right now.
