Force FX Lightsaber. These things are extremely cool, even if you aren't a Star Wars buff. When you turn it on, the LEDs illuminate sequentially, making it look as if it's powering up and extending, rather than the older style that would just illuminate like a lightbulb. There are motion sensors inside and there is a speaker in the bottom. I bought the red Darth Vader saber, which has a sound effect for power up, power down, an idle hum which is constant, a couple different ones for when you swing it, and a crash sound. The replica is amazing. Seriously, if you've ever watched the original trilogy, you will recognize this as Vader's saber.
There are other sabers out there, such as the blue Anakin Skywalker one, which is supposed to have a few more sounds, a different body design, and a blue blade. I am considering buying a few broken sabers to fix and play around with. Fixing and replacing dead LEDs is not a difficult task, and it would be cool to get a broken one and remove the blade anyways, for a cheap prop. I also wanted to see if I could make one with the Vader hilt and the blue blade, or even get some more powerful/luminous LEDs to make it even brighter [it's already pretty bright, even indoors during the day - can't wait to check it out tonight].
I don't know if it's your bag or not, but it's really neat.
