Finally the catback pipes came after a a few weeks of hell waiting for them. I'm gonna be running them with the Megan 3" (inlet) GT muffler. At the moment everything else exhaust-wise is stock. I'm going to get to installing everything sometime this week.

Nice, I'm going with the same pipes. Tell us how they fit up, and if you needed to weld another hanger on the top of the muffler.

I just installed mine about two weeks ago, I didnt need to weld a hanger on the muffler, it fit nice and snug, almost perfect.

Good to hear. What kind of muffler did you use? I'm probably gonna go with a magnaflow 3" inlet 2.5" dual outlet.

Fastway when you bolting it up to the car? make sure to take pics and share with us:icon_bigg

i have the exact same set up. same muffler and all. i love it. only complaint is that i wanted mine angled to the side and up.. not very much but it is enough to make the exhaust hang fairly low.. so i would only say that these pipes r good if u want it to exit straight or angled side to side. but cooleeze products are very nice and the install took me 15 mins with a floor jack. gave my car a reallll throaty sound :)

Guys im in a pickle. I got the bolts off of the catalytic convertor. I need to get the stock exhaust off of a specific hanger but I cant find a way to do so. Here is a pic.

just pull harder lol... actually I used something like pliers that will wrap around both sides but don't clamp down too hard... and then just pull... also try some silicon lube... that should to the trick...

Hey will it be easier to connect the two catback pipes together and then hang/bolt it to the cat or put it on one piece at a time?

it could be... I'm not sure as my exhaust is one piece welded together and I have no problem gettin it in there... what I normally do is put the rear hanger on so I don't have to hold it all the time... and then connect it to the turbo and then do the rest of the hangers... it's pretty simple...

I used a megan n1 style muffler, 3" inlet 4.5" outlet. I had a friend help me put it on(its much easier to have one person hold it up while the other puts on the rubber pc). Didnt take any pics and now its at the shop for a boo boo i made last fall on the subframe....supra abuse :(

Fast: Mix up a little bit of dish soap with some water in a spray bottle. soak up that hanger real good, and with a prybar, and I use a hammer, you should be able to get it off in no time!

Anyone have pics of the Cooleeze pipes on their car? I want to get a good idea of how low it hangs in the back. I hate low hanging exhaust, anyone got a solution to tuck it right up to the bumper if it hangs low??
