i need help. I have a 1986.5 N/A Supra. my coolant temp guage stopped working yesterday. when i looked at the connector, it was only held on by a thread. so I replaced it with a spade connection. It still didnt work. I got a new coolant temp sensors for the ecu and for the gauge. it still doesnt want to work. coolant is full, and there are no codes. when I start the car it will idle between 1000 and 1100 rpms and stays even when the engine is warmed up. Any ideas on what could cause this? im lost.

im sure. i replaced the ecu coolant sensor and the instrument cluster coolant sensor. the wire is yellow with a green line for the guage cluster sensor
ok. I started it up today and let it warm up. everything worked fine. temp gauge was working and idled at 650 to 700 rpms.
