Check your overflow tank. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the sensor is in you overflow.

the sensor is in the overflow tank fill it up.

x2.

If you make a hard turn even with the coolant overflow mostly to the full line, you can make the fluid move enough to drop the sensor low enough to trigger the light.

If its on while you're simply driving along, you're fluid is low inthe overflow, or you have a bad sensor.

mine has been like that for a year know. fill you reservoir tank and check for small leaks. Mine had a small coolant leak coming from the lower rad hose. I replaced the clamp and filled everything up with coolant and purged the system of air. good to go now for almost 6 months no more light. :)
