coolant light?

ok so my mom bought an 89,n/a,auto,targa about a week ago and the dashlights didnt work.so i pulled the cluster to find the problem.fast forward and i found out the dimmer switch didnt work,fixed that and noticede two bulbs missing.i replaced those and then when i was driving it the light goes on and off frequently.i check the coolant level and it was perfect, so now i dont know what to do.maybe the previous owner took it out bcuz it was annoying.
by the way car runs perfect and temp guages is right in the middle.:1zhelp:

yea if you can..pull the resvoir and check the sensor to see if theres any gunk in it..

For future reference, that doesn't mean what you think it does:

If you ever wondered what the stock temp gauge was trying to tell you, here it is.

It is designed so that it basically doesn't move over an operating range of about 90 to 110 degC, then it shoots up. Basically its useless except as an overheat indicator.


PS. the y axis is plotted as a percent of full scale deflection since there are no numbers on the gauge

lol...it should be on the bottom right if your looking straight into the engine bay..its in front of the radiator and to the right. cant miss it. unless previous owner removed it or relocated it.

I guess I'm the only odd ball, I keep saying it's a circus tent. everyone else say's it a bird cage.........."HMmm""
