Well I was testing out the supra for the hour drive back to CO. And i was driving around town and it started blowing coolant everywhere because of a poorly tightened clamp. So my roomate desided it would be a good idea to releive the pressure by taking the radiatior cap off and it blew coolant EVERYWHERE. After that it started running funny and studdering alot. I blew out all the connectors out that I could get to and nothing was wet on the inside, the spark plug valley is still dry but it still studders pretty badly sometimes like the ignition is missing. At idle it misses and the tach will flick up and down. When im driving it, it will studder if im slightly accelerating but if im cruising at one speed its not all that bad and if i get on it, it wont studder. It ran fine before this all happened and i thought that running it would heat it enough to evaporate all the moisture out but it still does it. Could this have ruined anything? This is starting to worry me... Thanks again

turbo or na?

if its a turbo check the CPS and coil pack
If its NA check the spark plugs again and check the distributor cap to see if any water got in it.

Well yesterday i changed the oil, fuel filter(just had a new one lying around), and put a can of Sea Foam in the gas tank and it seems to be running a bit better, the studder is about half as harsh now... Hmmm

how hot did it get when it blew coolant everywhere... it may be time to check your compression, as the stuttering you're describing can sometimes be indicative of a bhg.

So I found out the problem with the studdering... Strange that it decided to act up at that point in time, but the timing was way off i guess because i twisted my distributor all the way to one direction and it idled way smooth... Dont know why it didnt do this from the start... I going to try and move the distributor over a tooth because it only runs smooth if its turned all the way down, and even then itll still do it in the very very slightest and only every now and then...
