Coolant leak at the back of the head

Just got the head put back on the supra after a bhg. Didnt even get it out of the garage and noticed a coolant leak at the back of the head. So i took off the hose that runs from the pipe behind the exhaust mani and inspected it to find no tears or holes. This makes me think it is that metal fitting that the rubber hose attaches to back there.

What is that called and how is it removed/replaced. Honestly i would love to not have to take the engine out of the car(havent got to drive the car in about 6 months and its killing me lol) thanks for the help

Could be the L shaped heater hose too.

Was the head/block decked? What head gasket? Is the leak from the left, right, or center back on the head?

leak was in the center of the head running over the egr cooler.. got the two metal hoses off the back of the head(involved a 1 1/4 inch socket and a tire tool lol). i suspect the washer/gaskets are worn out.

The L shaped hose can spray that way.

those metal heater hoses that wrap around the block get rusted TOO often.. you might want to take the exhaust manifold off and inspect the whole system you might have a hole rusted through it..

I'm thinkin its that L shaped heater hose thats right over the back center of the motor like hvyman said...

yeah that one hose that goes onto the banjo bolt is a tricky to inspect hose.

haha got it fixed.. was the big heater union washer/gaskets. got it off and replaced with 1 1/4 inch socket and a tire tool lol
