MY HEAD IS OFF!!!

The one on my shoulders, not my cars... Theres a coolant host on the back passenger side that WONT COME OFF!! and then theres a fuel line going between the intake manifold and is bent oddly, its keeping me from moving the head off, I cant take off the manifold bc I cant get a socket in there to remove the EGR with it on the car.

How in the hell does everyone do this?

Lots and lots of patience! You might want to see if removing the hose on the other side is easier. I'm assuming it's the one that goes to the heater you're talking about? If it's not that one, there's the one coming from the water pump area that was difficult for me to get off and my engine was out of the car! If you can get to it, a bit of WD-40 sprayed under the edge of the hose can help loosen it up.

As for the fuel hose, is there a rubber section to it? Same thing with the lubricant can help, or if that doesn't work and its rubber, just cut it and replace it later. On mine, I think I removed the fuel rail first and that somehow made it easier.

i had problem with that. i kno the fuel line that bends was a PAIN. There were 2, one more goes further down toward the 6th cyl. just get that out of the way u can get the head off.
