its that brown thign ontop of the thermostat housing. i see it is very wet there, yet everythign else aroudn it is very dry. well the smoke is comeing form that area so that or anythign under it is always a possibility.
edit.
is it possible for coolant to come up through here? if so, could it cause overheating/mad smoke from under the hood?

Is it coming from the threads of the sensor or just from that area, it could be a busted hose that goes to the hard pipe under the ex mani. More info would help.

alright more info this time around. i start up the car. everythign is fine. when i drive it for a bit, at normal trmperature it stay fine for about 5 mins when it hits half way. then the car start smoking from the same area. It looks like its coming from the whole area where the Turbo coolant line is te CSI time swich etc. it looks to be coming form the area where the whoel housing is connected to the actual motor. there is no overheating on the car, but it always runs low on coolant and i have to refill after all the times it sprays coolant over the motor.i can' see the coolant spraying though. only the smoke. i dont know, maybe my water pump is done? any ideas guys? this is making sad and this is the mot info i can gice as of right now :(

there is a hose that goes from the tstat housing to the head it requires some pliers and for you to remove the CPS and powersteering resevoir. It could have a leak in it..

okay now i noticed where the possible leak is coming from. it might be from oen of the4 hoses all the way at the bottom of the car. But that wouldnt explain the spray on the top would it? what kidn of hose can run in between the thermostat housign and the bottom IC hose? i think its somewhere in taht general area. i guess i have a logn day of work ahead of me now :(

It is possible that the thermostat housing has come loose from the head. There are two nuts and one bolt that hold it in place. You will need to move a few things to get access to them (like the CPS and PS reservoir).

I second NDBoost, that elbow hose always breaks and sprays on the exhaust manifold...instant white smoke.
