I got an offer for a JDM 7MGE motor for 300 shipped, and my GTE motor has rod knock, so my question is, if I buy this NA motor, all that it will take to convert it to a turbo motor would be to swap pistons, install the CPS, intake/exhaust manifold, turbo, coil packs, and valve covers off my GTE motor right? those are the only differances between the motors, or am I wrong?

oil squirters as well. i heard those make and break the NA-T's

urban legend. the oil squirters DO NOT MAKE OR BREAK THE NA->T's.

dont forget that the GE's have a higher compression ratio, too, so you'd have to swap out the pistons if you want the lower C/R.

If i bought this i would be replacing the pistons, as well as putting in a MHG and turbo electronics. I'm just considering it as an alternative to fixing the rodknock of my turbo motor, which had 55,000 miles on it, new NA motor has 15k miles
