well, after it sitting for 3 weeks, i fired it up after putting hks3 ssqv bov on. runnin good, then all the sudden, after bout 10 min, idle started fluctuating, and died, could barely fire it up....got it to idle sort of, and found that the bov was opening. took the line off and it has constant vacumme.

this is hooked to the stock location, so it should be good, but idk. im baffeled. anybody have similar experience?? what did you do:1zhelp:

it seems to be just staying open just a bit. i can feel the air hitting my hand IF i can keep it running. when i rev it up, the bov is working, i can hear it, but cause the vacuum, it just dies. i unplug the bov, it doesnt stay open and car runs fine.

idk wtf, frustrating

Yes, getting vacuum there at idle is normal. The internal spring in the BOV should be keeping the valve closed at that time.

thats what i was just thinking bout poodles, i also discoverd one other thing, this is not the bov i wanted, i asked for a "supra specific" bov, the part number i got is a universial... "lighter spring".....so since where i got the bov wont help me out, and hks wont talk to me cause im not a dealer, im looking at trying to pull the back off, and shimming the sping to work better, idk, fu*kn pissed is what i am, i will keep you posted......

Really doubt the BOV itself is any different in their supra specific kit. All it does it come with a pipe with the flange on it.
