Hey all. Last Hurdle before everything is running Properly.

First, When I start the car up in the Morning, My Wideband A/F readings are 14.8 to 15.2 or so and when Im driving it for the first time at normal cruising range its sits between 14.5 to 15.5 or so..

Now here is my Dilema... Once I turn the car off and walk into a Store or whatnot, Come back outside and start the car up, The wideband readings at Idle Drop down to 12.3 or so and under normal Acceloration its sitting around 12.5 and sometimes it even Drops down to around 11.4 or so. I end up having to Lean it out on my SAFC to like -18 and -21 and that only brings it back up to around 13.6 or so. I dont like to Adjust it that much as Im not for sure what the Actual A/F levels are since everything is going Crazy. And Ofcourse No boosting at this Point at all.

Next Morning, I end up having to reset everything back to the Original settings that I had them at before.

Does this sound like a Wideband sensor going out. Im using the AEM Uego Wideband. I did get a Check Engine light one time and it came up as O2 sensor Deteration but I changed the Narrow band O2 sensor about 2 weeks ago and still no change.

Sorry for all the Questions, You all are my Heros :icon_bigg

^ lol. Could be an exhaust leak. Are the sensors located near each other?

Yeah, they are pretty close to one another. but they arent Directly inline with each other though. The Narrow band one is about the same Position as the Stock mk3 one and the Wideband one is to the Side but about 4" farther down the Exhaust pipe

I come from a land down under
Depends on how bad it's cooked (not sure if there's a point of no return)

He could do free air cals and see if it settles any.

I'm NOT a big fan of piggy back fuel controls as they seem to fight the ecu at times.

Maybe I'm not reading this right but are you having to input the settings everytime you start the car?

Is your AFC not saving the settings in it when you turn off the car?

Its saying the Settings, Its just everytime I get into the car and start it up, Im having to reAdjust the A/F levels to get them back within the 14.0 Range.

ie... In the Morning, Idle and Mid Throttle A/F is 14.4 to 15.0 with all Settings at 0

Turn car off, Restart the car and A/F level falls to 11.5 to 12.8 and I have to Turn the SAFC settings on Low throttle to Like -18 on 1000rpm and -20 on 2000rpm Level and that only brings it back up to around 13.6 or so.

Let is set for long enought for the engine to cool completely and start it up and I have to set everything back to 0 to get the 14.5 to 15.0 Idle again.

How close should the O2 Sensor be to the V-Band Flange and How far down the Exhaust can I install a Wideband so It ready correctly.

did you do the 12v constant fuel pump mod? not sure if that would mess with ya or not with your setup.

Nope, Im running a MKIV TT pump. I didnt start having this Problem until I went to the V-Band flange turbos.

I have mine in the horizontal section of pipe beside the Trans.

How far down the Exhaust pipe is that.

Like I said before, I installed a New O2 snesor and nothing changed from the way it was doing before so I dont think that is the Problem...... Getting too hot as you all said maybe?

The sensors while they will work being that close will have a greatly reduced lifespan.

So you would greatly Suggest moving them down farther in the Exhaust. I have the Bung caps so caping them off wouldnt be a Problem.
