Connector/Sensor On middle of intake manifold

What is this connector / sensor in the middle of the intake manifold? reason i ask is while i was doing my harness wiring (for the 550's) the connector broke off right at the wires from being so briddle. Theres not enough wire to wire it back up.

What does the AIT Sensor do?

It allow the ecu to know your air temperature. This will help the ecu to determine how much fuel needed to compensate for cold or hot air when enter into chamber.
