Hey guys, Ive been following these threads for a long time now and using all the info here Ive been able to take my stock supra and turn it into a beast. here is a list of mods:

complete engine rebuild
new oil pump
hks metal head gasket, arp bolts torqued to 90lbs
rebuilt head
cx racing t61
3" turbo back
3" intercooler piping
3" front mount intercooler
3" cold air intake
walbro fuel pump
areomotive fpr
megan racing coilovers
r1 concept cross drilled/slotted brakes and new pads
miro 368 18x10 wheels
aem tru boost contoller
aem uego wideband
Also new spark plugs and wire, i think i gapped them right.

mods for this weekend:
lexus v8 and 550cc injectors
afc neo reflashed

Anyways i have huge concerns that i havent been able to ease before i install lexus v8 and 550cc injectors.
1. i have a vey lean idle between 15-18 and beyond my wideband stops reading it past 18. During hard accelaration my afr's are between 10.5ish to 12ish. Could any of my mods cuase it to idle so lean? o and by the way during meduim throttle i get 13- 14 afr's

2.The 550cc injectors i bought are used. The guy who sold them to me said he installed on his 7m and realized he needed to go bigger. he said there fine but i havent tested or rebalanced them. Should I risk it???

I really would hate for a rod or piston to bust through my motor ths weekend. I would really appreciate any advise or recommendations anyone might have.... Thanx in advance i know you guys can help me out. If it helps ill post some sexy pics. of my car. she does look nice

Sounds about normal.

Not unless you want to completely rebuild that motor after it grenades. Have them cleaned and flow tested.

I use RC Engineering for this. They will clean, balance and calibrate them and will have them turned around in 24 hours with a complete report of how they are flowing, etc...

It will be the best $150 you've ever spent...

Thanx for the quick reply. I will certainly send them in asap, hopefully they are back by saterday. By any chance would you now what would be my boost limit with this mod and afc neo combo. I was looking for 20psi but if i cant tune well with an afc then i settle for less. i dont want more than 500bhp but diffinetly want to be over 450bhp

450hp at the crank would be possible, at the wheels would be pushing the limits of the fuel system pretty hard. Here's a chart that one of the members here did that gives you a rough guesstimate of what you can do with different injector sizing:

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?147015-Injector-sizing-guide.

550 is right on the edge for 450hp. Personally I wouldn't push a fuel system with 550's that far, but it's been done before. A water/meth injection kit could get it that extra little bit. Regardless, I still wouldn't run it at that kind of power daily.

Thanx this is very helpful. Since the motor still only has about 3000 miles since i built it, I will settle for 14 psi of boost for a while. I might not get those injectors back by this weekend though. Just wondering here, ive never heard anyone say they raised fuel pressure with this set up. All ive found is people saying that stock fpr wont work as effiecient. So im installing the areomotive adjustable fpr in an hour cuz i got to finish this paper for school first. Im gana set it up to stock fuel pressure ( i look that up before i begin, ive seen a few threads on how to do it.) Does anyone kno if I need to mess with the fuel pressure for higher boost levels or at a certain boost level beyond 11 psi?

Set the base fuel pressure as per the TSRM:

Remember adjustments that are made to the AFPR are across the board and are only needed for "gross" tuning.

In other words, if you're stupid rich across the whole range, lower it (no more than 1psi at a time) and try again. If you're stupid lean across the whole range, raise it. However, what you'll likely find is that you should leave the base pressure at the stock setting and then just do all your WOT tuning with your AFC Neo.

Okay so i got my fuel pump and fpr installed and set. Car runs great. Now im hooking up the afc neo using the instruction and wiring diagram provided by apexi. There is one issue, My car is a 91 toyota supra turbo. The instuctions are for 88.9- 90.7. then there is 90.8-92.? which is for 1jz. the diagram picture for the 90.7 matches my ecu connector and the 90.8- 92 does not. so i used the 90.7 wiring instruction for 7mgte and turns out that the trottle signal wire isnt where the diagram says it should be. I have no idea which is throttle signal on my conector or if the other wires i tapped into are even what the diagram says they are ( karman signal etc.) what can i do??? has anyone run into this problem? ive searched and no luck
