Computer Error After Reboot

Computer Monitor wont power on (still on standby, with orange light), after i did a hard shut down. Ive had this problem before, fixed it before, i fergot how, it was a long time ago.
if anyone can help me out it would really be appreciated, sooner the better.

I hate it when I get that problem. I'm assuming you hear the computer booting up, fans spinning, etc., just no signal going to the monitor?

Make sure your video cable connection is good. Make sure the video card is completely in its slot. Try unplugging the power supply to the computer and then plugging it back in. Try a different video cable. Try a different monitor.
