compression test

Just a quick dumb question......I know before I do this I need to heat the car to normal operating temps......but do I also remove the EFI fuse?

Yes so the car doesn't dump fuel.

Also hold the throttle open wide open.

I was just looking at what I need to remove for the test...it seems like I need to remove the throttle cable mount as it is blocking plug # 5....how do I hold the throttle open with this removed?

With you hand and have someone else crank it.

Or put the tester adapter in the hole and then temporerly put throttle linkage on.

You can get a tester screwed in with the throttle linkage still in place. Just be careful not to cross thread it.

I did the compression test and all 6 were between 150 and 160. Thanks again for the help
