Comcast to discontinue Newsgroup Service

Came across this info today when I logged on to comcast.

The Comcast Newsgroups service will be discontinued on 10/25/2008.
We apologize for the any inconvenience.

Short and sweet. No lubricant offered or required. Spell check and sentence structure optional as well.

So my monthly bill will go down as well right?

I think its part of their idea to save bandwidth, along with the 250gb throttle....

yeah possibly, the link, its not free but usually what Ill do is sum up alot of shit I want at once, pay $3 for 3 days and get it all... or you can swing $15 a month for unlimited, and trust me, you can access ANYTHING and their retention period is like 200 days... its useful.
