Well my stock white 87 is going for paint shortly. I was dead set on Blue, but on this last road trip i seen a LOT of blue cars, So since i have blue Interior i am rather limited. So i am deciding between a Sapphire blue or a Yellow like on a 2011 Corvette

I'd go with the blue. I just don't think yellow really suits the car, but paint is always a personal opinion. Paint the car what color YOU want it to be, because your thoughts on how it looks is the only thing that REALLY matters ;)

Neither.

I think blue on blue would be too much and would probably get kind of boring to look at and yellow is too outrageous for me....I'd probably regret it if it was my car.

Please don't do yellow... our cars are neither old enough nor exotic enough to pull off yellow very well. :nono:

SupraGirl in New Zealand did hers in yellow - it was quite stunning, IMO. So did Mellow from California. I like SG's yellow better, but YMMV. Here's a few pics:

Yea that looks much better then i had pictured it thanks so much. I am not a blend it type person. Being 6'3 heavy set and wearing neon colors is my style lol. Joked about doing it in safety green lol

That bottom picture is some dude that lives in Everett area Grim. I have seen it. I was going to say do it Matte Yellow with black rims and a good tint job. You would need to get the tint to hide the Blue. You could source a shadow gray interior or get your stuff dyed, but Blue and yellow would just look like a sports teams car.

SG yellow looks good, but the gm yellow would look much different.

You could go any shade of gray to silver.

Personly Id go sublime. Or purple. You wanted bold.

Don't forget Lamarossa. To each his own I guess. I vote neither. Black is the best, and my car is bright red. I think the dark Toyota navy blue looks much better than yellow.

That might not look too bad actually. I posted up a few pics of my car in another paint related thread recently, if you wanted to see what a dark blue/purple looks like.

Well i think i will stick with A yellow, I look at a lot of pictures and it seems to be the least picked color. I do not like being one of the flock myself. As for staying white i swear 40% of 87's were white. I may not go with the vet yellow. I can really see my int redone with yellow accents to match the blue that i have.

I checked the poll it is rather funny 25-2 in favor of blue, which gives me a good idea i wont pull into a meet an be just another blue car. Oh and if the other person who voted for yellow see's this yell so i know who my supporter is lol. I guess now i can get away with one of those BIG ricer spoilers since my car well get plenty of hate for the color hehe

Well if you're looking for attention, and to be a bit different, yellow is one of the few colors that Supras weren't made in from the factory. Maybe a Mountain Dew yellow would be interesting, kinda like a green-yellow?

Well one thing is for damn sure anywhere i go anyone here see's it they will KNOW how it is. Will help avoid the threads who was driving that white 87 on I-90 lol. Lexus has a nice yellow also not so in your face as the GM yellow.
