cold start injector

Wondering where this is on the 7mgte. I know its under the manifold somewhere. Any pics of it?

its right under the intake manifold... its in the middle if i remember correctly

hmmmm....does the manifold have to come off in order to get to it? I want to test it to see if this is my richness issue.

your car is running rich? have you checked all your ic pipes? have you tested your o2 sensor? checked error codes? checked timing?

I checked ic pipes, error codes....Im on my way to start a compression check today also to make sure my rings are okay

test your o2 sensor. the tsrm has the proceedure for how to do it.

Mine is brand new, but ya i should test it anyway

i failed emissions, then passed after the new o2

Well the results of my compression check are as follows.

#4 155
#5 153
#6 150


I think that is in range, so i look good there.

the csi can be taken off without having to take of the manifold... just follow the directions in the tsrm to removing it... basically was unbolt the fuel line then unbolt the two bolts on the injector thats connected to the manifold... then unplug connector mine was all gunked up just clean it and see if that makes a diff

how could a faulty csi make you run rich, could someone explain

Where can i get a cold start injector for my 89t that is decently priced. I found one for like 90 some odd dollars.

I was on the online tsrm to find out how to change the injectors and there is no information on it. Just testing the injectors. Anyone have a good writeup on how to change them.
