cold start injector with standalone

I am running megasquirt soon i was wondering what to do with the stock cold start injector? it seems like it is not needed since you can set cranking injector duty cycles. What is the norm when going standalone?

edit: since my engine caught fire the fuel hose for the CSI burnt up so that would also be one less part to buy

I just left mine in place and disconnected the wires to it.

Nope! just mess with the megasquirt cold start enrichments and use the factory IAC valve to control cold starts.

If you don't know how to wire the IAC, then PM me, I have it all figured out

sweet! but i have looked at some threads on here about wiring it up as bipolar instead of unipolar so i think i got it but im waiting to assemble the megasquirt still. if i have any trouble with it tho ill hit you up! thanks man

Bin the CSI and plug the hole, I made an AIT sensor flange for a bud that uses the hole.

i like that alot but wouldnt the senor heatsoak bad there? i just have the gm iat sensor
