Cold Start Injector removal??

I went to take it out and clean it because my car chokes up on cold start but it dont seem to wanna come out, seems like its wedged between the runners and the part that is still inside am I doin somethin wrong, seems like theres not enough room to take it out I turned it and everything. (BTW it was VERY oily, thats after I sprayed it with cleaner) there was fresh gas in the line leading so at lest that part of the sytem seems to be ok

srrys guys guess I was not being rough enough with it, u gotta pull tord the driver sides and dont be afraid, its not plastic you wont break anything. Mine was COMPLETELY pluged with oily sludge

I just cleaned my cold start Injector today. I had the same problem with taking it out it comes out quite hard. If you take and pull it towards youself and play with the wires in back to loosen them up a bit it will come out reluctantly. (take gas line off) Just a toothbrush and some gas worked to clean mine off. There was almost a milimeter of crap all the way around mine. No wonder the car started like crap. I also put 12 volts to it to open the solonoid to make sure that it opened and that I could blow fuel through it.

How do you remove the bottom part of the csi? I got the 3 nuts out and the only thing left is the botton plastic part. Is there a special way to disconnect it?
