Ok, I just got my car running again after sitting for 9 months, 1JZ auto, w/ upgraded 12b setup, anyway, when the engine is cold, it idles at ~500 rpm. Actually that's what it idles at all the time. With the 550's and Walbro I have it's running way too rich when cold at that RPM, causing a slight miss at idle. But if I raise the idle with the adjustment screw it will raise it all together right, so I'll have say, 1000rpm idle all the time, right? Anything else I can check/adjust?

Also, it's taking forever for the transmission to shift into OD. It almost seems like it's not going to shift into OD, and then just does, after that it works fine. I've shimmed the accumulators but didn't touch the 3 to OD shift accumulator b/c a stiff shift then really isn't needed, also I have the line pressure upped a little bit, could that be causing it. Could this also be why the anti-lock light is on?

Any help appreciated guys, the car is so close to running perfect!!

your bad idle is prollly the fact that you have 550's and no SAFC or anything to lean it out.

its prolly gonna foul out plugs soon if it hasn't started to already....

550's and walbro on stock ecu with no controller is bad news

I'm getting it tuned next week, but why would running more fuel cause the car to just not have it's warmup idle speed. As soon as I start the car, it revs up to 1000rpm for a second, and then drops to right around 600rpm and stays there. Idle smooths out once the car is warmed up. Shouldn't it idle at 1000 or thereabouts until it's warmed up??
