I'm sure this has posted before, but I can't find it. What inake systems is everybody using. I'm thinking about the Apexi power intake, but it's kind of pricey. Any recomondations. Thanks

That would be a good choice.

Only cold air system is stock tho. All others are hot air flow systems.

Apexi and aem dry flow filters the best tho.

AEM Dryflow here... and on my former MKIII. Half the cost of the Apex'i and filters as well (if not better).

So, Sparky... 310K eh? Damn man... only about another 500K and you'll be caught up with the LandCruiser. ;)

Is there a way yes. Would a 4in aem dry flow be a better/easier option yes.

Just need to go get some metal make a flange for the apexi 4 bolts. Then weld the 4pm pipe to it. If it's smaller then need to go from smaller to bigger making it somewhat a restriction.

If you want something pre-made there is an Apex'i kit with a 4" adapter flange... only run you about $125. It was only available with the whole kit last I checked. It's listed by them as a "Universal".

That goes from 3.3in inlet to 3.7 out. 4in coupler but it would flow better with a straight 4in aem dry flow filter. Plus you can get the filter in different lengths.
