Can someone please tell me how to replace the coil pack clips? Does the clip have a screw or snap open? A few of mine are very brittle so I need to order 6 new ones. Are they difficult to replace?

Also I assume the 2jzgte clips are the same as the 1j right?
part #90980-11246

Thanks

1jz = same coils and ignitor as 2jzgte.

Also same ignitor as a toyota avalon.

so yes, they fit.

Thanks guys. How do you remove the clips to replace with the new? Is there a fastener?

insert a small flathead (jewelry screwdriver) into the connector and depress the clip that fastens the terminal into the connector. or you could just break the old connector since you wont be using it anymore. just be careful not to bend or damage the terminals.

Seeing as how you're just replacing them anyways, use some pliers to crack the old connectors in half, making sure not to damage the metal sockets on the ends of the wires, pull out the wires, insert the wires into the new clips, and insert the white plastic locking piece. Done.

Edit: I didn't read all of Ken's post, that's what he said too :)
